Robin Broad, Technical and Creative Director of Starbird Digital, has written the computer code for a range of websites. Here are a few examples with a brief commentary:
Home and Garden, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.
The Home and Garden, Newcastle website was created by Starbird Digital in September 2022.
The site uses a responsive layout, which means that it looks great on both mobile devices and computers. The site has a nice online quotation tool and online booking request system, which shows current availability. Anti-spam mechanisms protect the email address. It is quite complex behind the scenes, using GNU/ Linux, Apache Server, PHP, HTML5, CSS3. This site also meets World Wide Web HTML standards.

Street Artist .UK
The Street Artist .UK website was created by Starbird Digital in June 2022.
The site uses a responsive layout, which means that it looks great on both mobile devices and computers. The site presents a nice online art gallery, with links to purchase prints, framed prints and original paintings. Anti-spam mechanisms protect the email address. It is quite complex behind the scenes, using GNU/ Linux, Apache Server, PHP, HTML5, CSS3. This site also meets World Wide Web HTML standards.

The Easy SDCMS Demo Site
The Easy SDCMS Demo website was created by Starbird Digital in October 2018. This is the first website to be built using our new economical content management system, The Easy SDCMS.

The site has an easy to use admin area which allows changes to be made by the site manager. Automated Teaching Machines
Automated Teaching Machines dot-com is a revision website that works as if it were an online personal science, physics, chemistry or biology tutor. It is designed to be used by English speaking high school or college students, and other learners, anywhere in the world. It currently covers science topics for fourteen to sixteen year olds. Created in 2016, all content and computer code written and produced by Robin Broad, Technical and Creative Director of Starbird Digital.
Automated Teaching Machines - websiteSaint Andrew's Church
The Saint Andrew's Church website receives a lot of online visitors. It currently has had over 110,000 unique website visits, that's around 15,000 visits per year. Google web developer tools were used to make sure that this website could easily be found on Google, and it was.
The site navigation was designed to be easy to use because it contains over sixteen pages. Image manipulation software was used the create the gold lettering in the header of the website, which was in keeping with existing lettering already used by the church. The administrators are able to use their own admin area to add and remove news items and to upload the latest weekly bulletin document. Created in 2011, all computer code written by Robin Broad, Technical and Creative Director of Starbird Digital.
In October 2018, the original code written in 2011 was modified to create a new mobile responsive site.
Saint Andrew's Church - websiteJohn Ramsey Fine Art
John's website was an interesting e-commerce project. He wished to sell a range of detailed artwork products online. The solution uses jQuery animation techniques that are iPad and iPhone compatible, to allow the user to view a detailed close up of each piece of artwork. Each item can be purchased using the PayPal shopping cart system. Created in 2014, all computer code written by Robin Broad, Technical and Creative Director of Starbird Digital.
John Ramsey Fine Art - websiteA Million Web Pages for Peace
On 7th November 2018 we achieved our goal of producing our millionth web page. This was achieved using a computer program to dynamically generate unique web pages sequentially. Initially, we ran experiments to generate fifty pages at high speed. After the success of these initial experiments, we ran an experiment to generate a million web pages, starting with page one at 10:38:07pm on 2018/11/06.
Every web page was dedicated to peace for the world. The Million Web Pages for Peace project was inspired by Anthony Strano's Being At Peace guided meditation and the Brahma Kumaris Million Minutes of Peace Appeal.
